The Project

This project is the result of an ongoing collaboration with Bangor University to explore the feasibility of using super high frequency microwave to treat various skin conditions. This project explores future technology as well as potential product applications for new markets.

Design

UW has played a key part in moving from theoretical concepts to physical prototypes that prove the technology. We have also conducted various levels of biomedical testing to start to build evidence of outcomes. By applying our strong user centred design process, we have created several spinout projects from this feasibility research that explore potential applications and are currently in the process of working with partners to secure further investment.
